T120r crank play

Hi guys

Rebuilding the motor for my 1965 triumph t120r with 750cc barrel

I put the crank back in and bolted the cars back together but there's about 5mm of play left to right on the crank, is that normal?? I couldn't remember if it had it before or not

Wish I could help, but rebuilding a Triumph motor is beyond me. Thinking about getting the new bobber if the T120r rebuild doesn't work out?

That sounds like a real fun project to do but it's definitely not something I'm knowledgeable on. Unfortunately I'm of no help
