I think the instructions relate to the Thruxton for the airbox removal. Not sure about removing the tank. I cant see that is necessary with the Bobber.

Has anyone successfully done this?

My dealer tool shows my throttle bodies slightly off but it looks like they started with the adjustment screw and built a motorcycle around it.

Looks like I can reach reach adjustment screw if I remove the airbox. Is it ok to start the engine and adjust throttle balance without airbox?

Yeah. You can run it with airbox removed. I am curious as to how you get to this screw. I pulled the airbox and still couldnít get a good shot at it.

If that is the screw, i think i can, but if its deep behind that screw, im not sure.
