Thanks, I'm lucky it turned out ok.
I hand sanded it down a couple evenings
this week till it looked like it might
fit my south end.
I got off work yesterday and stopped by
my ex boss's shop (Pro Auto Interiors) and
he gave me enough leather to cover it.
When I got home I was so anxious to
get started sewing it up.
I didn't take my time, I rushed through it.
So many stitches its hard to see the crooked ones.
Sometimes that works, sometimes it don't.

Still, looks great! That's basically what I'd like to do. Stock seat profile, but diamond.

Looks great and THERE SHOULD be flaws in anything handmade. Gives character!

Wow! That is really nice.

I want to take my stock seat to an auto upholstery shop and have it redone in brown leather. Nothing fancy.

Maybe next week. I'm entertaining grandkids this week.

Of the three seats that I have ridden the stock seat profile fits my tush the best. If it were brown instead of black I would leave it alone.
