Front sprocket mesh mod

After watching
I decided to replace my mesh too. Purchased some anodised 'gold' effect expanded aluminium mesh on Ebay. OEC mesh held in place by easily removable flat plate, although mesh actually soldered in place at 4 points. Snipped gold mesh to shape, slightly allowing outer leaf to bulge outwards - et, voila!

Reassuring! Max temp so far 80 deg in 27.5 deg weather whilst filtering . Mostly around 70-80 deg.
