Thumbs up What did you do to your Triumph Bonneville Bobber today?

Share what you have done recently with the Bonneville Bobber forum community!

Example: I took her out of the garage and gave her a nice bath and followed up with a coat of wax.

Example: Finally received my slash pipes, going to spend sometime with the install.

Example: Installed my custom side bags with brackets and when out for a ride.

Anything goes!

Yesterday - Bobber got treated to a professional valet, steam clean and wax (not a fingerprint in sight anymore!!! ) :

and Bobbers´ owner treated himself to a new vintage style helmet :

Darnn that's a real nice helmet! It would be cool if you have a complete orange-ish pinstripes on the Bobber to match it up nicely. Bike is looking real nice though

Mirrors

I reversed the mirrors to hang below the bars. Unfortunately I haven't been able to ride to try them out. Seems about the same "oops I'm looking at my arm" as when mounted stock while sitting in my garage.

I´ve seen quite a few pics with the mirrors mounted that way.

I think they look good like that, would have been great if you could angle out .

I've always wondered if mirrors mounted that way gives you a better view of the rear or if it's hard to see when you have to look that low to see. More used to the up and outwards mirror positions.

Took a ride yesterday with the mirrors down! Brrrrr.....33deg. F. I wish I could turn them in a little more to get my arm out of the picture. I think out would be a problem with these mirrors. 5'9" with seat all the way back.

Riding Free
