Finally! Miles taillight and small indicators

So I finally got around to finishing my taillight/indicators mod without relocating the license plate to the side. The idea was to get rid of the kinda bulky orginal taillight without having to move the admittedly ugly huge German license plate out of the center.
I already had the original small indicators mounted, so I decided to just keep using the original base and construct and mill some kind of adaptor piece for the Shinyo Miles taillight.
Sure, I could have used combined indicators/taillights like the Rizomas, but I just fell in love with the classic look of that old school round thing. Don´t care if anyone likes it or not

Right on. Be cool to see it on at night. Looks like the housing lit up will look cool.

Well done. I'm working on a rear light, indicator and number plate relocation based around the miles tail light as well.
I have all the parts but I'm still working on the base. I'm trying to machine a block of aluminum 40mm thick to fit to the rear guard to give a 45 degree base for the tail light to mount. I appreciate all the ideas that are posted on this forum, some I won't use, some I will and some of the mods I've done I haven't been happy with. As soon as I work out how to post photos I'll show my efforts. Cheers

The small LED ones that are available in the Triumph configurator. Very easy to mount and they fit the original base. I have a matching pair for the front as well.

I think it looks cool. I’m still trying to figure out how to mount a different style tail light on the stock rear fender. Looks like your on to something big!

Thanks, it´s appreciated. I tend to over-plan things and it took me nearly all winter to finally come to the actual result. But in the end it was no big deal really. The key factor for me was just the construction and production of the adaptor plate (find the right angle for the license plate, find the right material, find a guy who could mill it and so on...)

But I must say, I´m pretty happy with the result.

So go for it, it´s worth the effort!
