Greetings from France.

HI,

I’m PFEN & I live close to the French/German border; 60 years old happy Triumph Bobber owner. I am here to share my humble experience and find some solutions for future upgrades. I've had a few Triumphs over the years. a couple T120, a Thruxton 900 EFI, a Thruxton 1200 classic, and a 1200 Thruxton R. I've realized I don't feel quite right without owning at least one British bike. (Ok, I may not be quite right anyway.) So I was happy to recently pick up a ironstone Bobber.

the bike was bought on September 29th. these pics are the last sunny days of autumn.
the climate is harsh in our regions and it is difficult to ride during the winter. (salt, cold, snow..etc.)
I could do about 2000 km in 2 months with this bike.
I drive about 15 to 20,000 km a year.
but I must say that I am retired ..

Now, the bike is quietly in the garage

thank you.I have the chance to ride on small mountain roads. Black Forest in Germany, the Vosges Massif, on the French side, the Swiss Alps.... All are 50 kilometers from my home.
it's a pleasure to ride in these conditions and landscapes invite to take pictures.
it is also to honor our motorcycles to try to highlight them. I try modestly to share my passion, my region and my country with those who drive and feel the same things when driving. likewise, when I buy, I do a job on the bike, etc..I try, by pics, to share information.

I do not know where you are, but here, when you say you're riding a Bobber, everyone thinks your bike is just able to take you to the local bar.
it annoys me, like these ads for city cars (just good to ride in town) ...

I always thought that a motorcycle, whatever its style, can take you to the end of the world. of course some are more talented than others ..but frankly .. go to the mountains or leave 3 days with a Bobber .. it's quite possible.
I know I'm old .. but my god ,if people could go back to simple things:
a motorcycle, roads,friends & stories about a beer.

with my T120

with my friend, who is also riding a Bobber, we made a bet:
"which will arrive first at 50,000 km".

he lives in a wetter but less cold area.here is his bike ..and do not tell him he has a Hipster motorcycle.
him like me have pretty hot blood with stereotypes
