Hi from Nottinghamshire UK

Hello all, I'm returning to bikes after 25 years, collect my Morello Red Bobber in a couple of weeks. It was amazing how even after such a long time how easy the bike was to ride for the hours test ride, awesome bike!

Looking to decat and fit the TEC X pipe, has anybody already done this and live anywhere near Nottingham UK, as would love to hear it and discuss remap and performance etc?

Or any comments welcome from anyone that has had a decat, many thanks in advance.

Regards
Nozzer

Welcome to the forum.

I have decatted the bike (with a FreeSpirits Xpipe).
I totally recommend an Xpipe. The difference in sound is substantial and performance-wise there is no need to have the bike remapped.

If you do decide to remap, there are nothing but 5* compliments for these guys:
Hilltop Motorcycles 01455 610721 or 07449 006300

If you do a forum search, there are quite a few threads about the Xpipe, etc from members who have also gone down that route.

Here is an interesting thread from another US Triumph forum:

Welcome to the forums and congrats on pulling the trigger for a Bobber!

With all you guys in that area, we're definitely going to need some photos of the meetups and cruises!

I've been hoping to add the TEC X De-Cat as well. However, TEC Bike Parts isn't selling them in the States yet. I spoke to George at TEC and got this reassurance that my wait will be short.

Hi

These are not in the USAat the moment, they should have stock in around 2 months

Any reason for going with TEC over FreeSpirit? The Free Spirit is already in the US.

The TEC is a good deal less expensive and the build quality seems a tick better.
