Another decat option

I was going to order the FreeSpirit x-pipe when I came across this TEC Stainless "De-CAT" X-Pipe | TEC Bike Parts - Custom Motorcycle Exhausts, Suspension & Parts. Has anyone fitted one and what is your conclusion? There's quite a price difference between the two...

Tec

I don’t know anyone who’s fitted a TEC X-Pipe but if it’s of similar quality to their exhausts and shocks it should be great!

Their X-pipe video is also very reassuring

Thanks, it's good to know that their products are generally of good quality, I'm going to give their x-pipe a try. Agree about the vid.

That's pretty significant for virtually the same thing. Another member had stated they felt the TEC was a tick higher in build quality than the FreeSpirit.

I don't know if this has already been discussed, but could it be possible to chop the exhaust right before and after the cat/xpipe location and just connect the front header pipe directly to the exit with a straight pipe?

According to the experts, the motor loses a lot of torque if you do that.
