A little crackel

Anyone experience some popping and crackling on mild engine rev? (Like slight backfire)

Got back from riding and gave a couple of twists with clutch in when I pulled into the garage and it popped and cracked on the downward RPMs.

No, didn't rev it anywhere near the limiter. Prob only around 3000-4000 RPMs.

Went back out 10 min later. Motor still hot and revved it the same way. Got a slight crackle.

Normal?

Glad to hear someone else is having it to. Phew. I hadn't heard it before today. Under 400 miles in the bike so maybe it's breaking in....

Same on my end. Seemed to be more noticeable after I hit about 300 miles ... currently just over 400.

Right on. I am only a little over 300. This will sound sick with some aftermarket pipes and cat delete.

I love that you can hear the crackles and pops from factory! Hearing those make me feel complete haha.
