BC sleeper pro exhaust installation

Coming back to a question raised in other threads about installing the BC sleeper pro mufflers. A couple of guys have talked about having trouble telling right from left, and apparently they can be installed and run either way...? And indeed, looking at two different pictures, one from the BC instructions and one off the website, it appears that they are installed differently, based on the position of the elbow bracket. As you can see, in the website pic (#1) the bracket turns up, while in the instruction pic (#2) the bracket turns down.

Based on what others have said about having problems with the instructions, I am assuming that the website pic is right, and that the bracket should turn up. But can anyone confirm? @GPz @DanFromVegas

I have also sent an email asking BC, but have not heard back yet.

Correct. Picture in British Customs' instructions was exactly opposite of what worked.

BTW, even then you may need to grind a bit on the rib atop your kickstand's foot in order to get it to clear the muffler.

Had these on for several days and have been enjoying them. I like the way they look and I like the way they sound. But I can also confirm with @DanFromVegas that they will indeed scrape before the foot pegs if you really lean into a curve! Only happened to me once And I’m not too concerned about it, but worth knowing about.
