J and S jacks

Hi, has anyone here used a j and s jack to lift the bobber for Maintenance? Is it safe to do with the bobber frame? Thanks Nick.

I had to look them up as it is obviously a US brand, I canít say I am a big fan of that sort of lift personally. Or maybe I am not blessed to have owned the right product ?

My preferred approach is rear paddock stand on the bobber with bobbins. I lift the front with a car jack and a slab of 4x2 under the frame to be able to release the front wheel. I only do this as my front paddock stand isnít wide enough for the bobber forks else I would use this here also.

a juicy red apple is nice... but not every apple is red

The price seems steep. Are you in the US? If so you should look into the aluminum motorcycle jack from harbor freight. Awesome lift. I love it. Use it all the time. I’ve left my bike on it for 3 weeks and it never lost an inch in the hydraulics.
