Rusty Bobber

So, I was in my local dealer Jack Lilleys on Saturday booking my other bike in for an MoT and the service guy said to me "Come and have a look at this"


Off we went into the workshop and they were just taking photos of the latest custom bike they've done:





It's got a whole heap of mods including bars, back end and pipes.


The main thing is the rust finish. Apparently done by stripping the paint off, treating it with a chemical that quickly induces rust, then neutralising it before finally sealing. I've got to say, it looks really good.

They should replace those big ole turn signals as well.

Nice take on the vintage look.
And I agree, those turn signals stand out like a sore thumb with that paintjob.
