Freddy saying Hi

Great to be a member here.
I live in Thailand having taken early retirement from the UK a little over 4 years ago.
I'm new to bike riding. A scooter here is the norm for daily short trips as I live in the countryside. I first bought a Honda Click 125cc. Enjoyed that so treated myself to a Vespa Sprint 150. Enjoyed that even more so a few months ago I bought a Honda Rebel 500. Customised that, love riding it but now have the bug.

So, tonight is a sleepless one due to excitement Ridiculous at the age of 55). Tomorrow I have my brand new Bobber Black being delivered from Bangkok. There are Triumphs about over here but mainly in the more touristy areas (Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket etc) I have never seen a Bonneville Bobber in this area. I imagine it will turn a few heads.

Next task is a garage extension to hold 2 scooters, the rebel, my truck and the new pride and joy!!

Welcome to group. Nice to still get that excited feeling about a purchase , even at 55. Look forward to seeing your new bike in the culture that you live in.

So far behind , I think I'm in first place.

Welcome to the site! I'd bet most of us felt the same anticipation before picking up our bikes that you're feeling now. Have you thought about making any changes to the bike yet?

Each one matters.

Thanks Ysoslo.
Think I'll get the firs service out of the way and then de-cat, X-pipe. See how that sounds with the stock exhausts which I think look pretty good. Will change the pipes if necessary.

Bike delivered from Bangkok at 3pm. At 4 pm the heavens opened (rainy season) so first ride was in the rain. Rain mode worked well. Looking forward to cleaning it first thing then hopefully a days dry riding.
