I went with the black version like Roy and Chico and I'm very happy with how the minor change sets my bike off from the rest (not that I've ever run into another Bobber "in the wild" yet).

Throttle Cover Bolts Replaced

Greeting Lads & Lasses,

I really enjoy these little jobs as they are easy, quick, inexpensive and makes one feel the project is still moving along.

So today I had some more titanium black bolts arrive from Pro-Bolt, so swapped out those holding the throttle covers on.

Cheerio,

Roy

Rear Sprocket Nuts

Progress sometimes seems slow but no less enjoyable.

This morning I swapped out the rear sprocket nuts for black titanium. Those original 'in the white' nuts were driving me .... well nuts...

Cheerio,

Roy

I must say, this gradual process of changing out bolts has been kind of like watching sand in an hour glass... inexorable and fascinating.

I did the same a while back. In addition I painted the end of the studs. It's all in the details isn't it Roy?

I should add that I’m waiting impatiently to see the final result as I’m interested in this idea.

Thanks Gents,

She's coming along but it might take a while, keeps me busy though.

Nice idea @Chico , will certainly give that a go at some point. Don't want to do too much to the back wheel right now as I have my belt drive to fit, so will look into more details in this area once that big project is done.

I do like these little touches though, a great way to keep moving forward with little investment of time, energy and cash. Nice to tick these project off as well.

Cheerio,

Roy
