Higher Handlebar Risers

It is possible to put on handlebar risers more than 1" if you move the clutch cable and brake hose to the front of the bars. I installed Rivco Triumph Thunderbird 1600 2" pullback risers on my 2018 Bobber from my previous bike. They are close to 6" high. I did give slack to the wiring also. The only thing is the angle of the brake hose bends upward, I guess I would have to put on a different hose to correct this.

I’ve always been of the belief that all control cables should go “through” the forks , up and over.

Try running your cables to each side of the headlamp, I would think your banjo bolt would then be fine.
