Looking forward to seeing it and hearing about your take. I'm waffling back and forth between getting a Corbin seat and swapping the rear shock. Has anyone done both? I'm curious about which one made the bigger difference in enjoyment of the ride.

Each one matters.

Tough to answer that.
I suppose it depends on how much you are suffering with the OEM seat in comparison to the rear shock and the state of your roads (taking into consideration your weight & riding style).
For me, the discomfort was SO bad on long(er) rides that changing the seat was priority #1. But thats easy for me to say as iīve had the Fox shock since delivery.

The simple fact is, no matter what you change you will enjoy both.
If i had to do it all over again, i would probably go for an adjustable Wilbers shock first followed by the Corbin very shortly afterwards.

And then of course after spending all that, you will see front end shortcomings and will inevitably have to decide between Ohlins & Matris

I don't have the Corbin seat but I have the quilted seat and I have the Fox shock. I think each accomplished a different thing. The seat keeps your butt more comfortable from long periods in the saddle. The shock keeps your spine from being jarred when you hit a bump or a pot hole. They serve two different purposes.

A Corbin seat and an improved shock would be the way to go.

EISEN77...The BB has better front end suspension and a fatter tire than the stock bobber , so I don't think that would be to much of an issue .

Mar-Vel, I thought YSOSLO had an original (single front disc) Bobber...?
Though I haven’t tested the BB, I’m sure it’s better than the OEM front suspension on the standard Bobber.

I just placed an order for a Corbin, my wait time is listed at 4-5 weeks. I went with Bomber Jacket Brown with Black Welts. I have a Corbin on one of my 76 Goldwings, love that seat.
