Auxiliary analogue temperature gauge

I know this is a dumb question, but is that auxiliary analogue temperature gauge in the Triumph accessories list for ambient air temperature or engine temperature?

Also, how big is it?

It would appear to only go to 50°C so I presume it is air temp.

Hi there, it is for air temp. I put one on my bike as I like to gauge what to wear before I ride. It is 1-1/2' in diameter. Hope this helps.

I considered the analogue clock. Well made and looks lovely. Only problem for me is it is too small. My eyes won’t really focus on it.

It sits on the bar, correct ? Or is it meant to be fitted somewhere else?

It sits on the bar and is attached to the screw that holds the switchgear in place.
