Talking What is your biggest Bobber ride in a day ?

So I was out with a few of the UK members on a great ride today and it occurred to me it was probably the most miles I have done on my Bobber in a single day. I normally do shorter journeys and would say I never do much more than 150 miles in a day.

Today I clocked up 257.5 miles or 414.4 kmís, so it is not epic in terms of touring on a GS, Tiger or similar and I am also sure it isnít the most someone will have done on a Bobber but it did get me interested in what others do.

So what is your biggest Bobber ride ?

My longest ride was around this time last year going home (at that time) from Arizona to New Mexico.

Total milage was a little over 500 miles in one day (512 if memory is correct or around that).

I had not intended to do that in just one day and had planned for some camping but after a great mornings ride I was half way and still full of it, so thought I'm going to give it a go..

A little stiff but I made it. Although I did think to myself 'I'm not 20 any more'..

I think it would be a lot easier today on my new sprung seat..

Cheerio,

Roy

Ahh yes but I did have my new Speedmaster tank fitted....

Even so, I did run it a little too close for comfort on one stint..

But loved the extra fuel capacity for sure..

Cool I feel this is enough, sure more can be done but is it a bike for that really ?

If they are good miles then you wonít do as many, if it is all motorway boredom then sure they pile on but are they any fun ...
