Hotter... as a BASAART!

I know our summer weather is small potatoes compared to yous in the Oz and the US, but Lordy!, today has been hotter... as a basaart! (as we say in Scotland).

Riding the bike was bliss, but ruddy heck, taking my sweaty gloves off and putting them back on was an ordeal!

Hi Mate,

Yes I recall the UK weather well.

As an Englishman in Arizona I have to make sure to keep my rides down to mornings and evenings. My wife and I went down to Phoenix the other week (not recommended in the summer), we were in the car with good air conditioning but at over 110 we almost died...

Love the evenings though.

Hunker in and have a Scotch mate - perhaps with some 'ice'....

Cheerio,

Roy

Not in British Columbia rain only 2 days in July without rain. High temperatures have not got to the average for this time of year all month. Last week it snowed in the Rockies 200 miles east of us. Worst summer in years

There's only one benefit of living in the driest state in the driest country on earth - plenty of good riding days

Brilliant. Iíve just been wiping my eyes from laughing. That geezer is from the Northeast - around about Aberdeen.

That video absolutely captured those Doric speaking teuchters to a tee.

Love it.

My family and I were in Venice around the 4th. It was HOT!!!!!

The weather in North Carolina has cooled down and I have gotten some nice rides in.

I hope things bet better in Scotland. You have such a beautiful place to ride. It would be a shame to waste it.
