Big bike meet - Pics

Hi all,

Thought Iíd share a few pics etc of a meet I went along to last night. In truth I arrived home from work last night thinking it would be nice to head out for an hour or so on old Bob. I then happened to open Facebook on my phone and an alert popped up to let me know that a meet Iíd popped my name down for some months back was in fact happening tonight... perfect!

It was being held at a place named The Wagon & Horses in Faversham... which is around 25 minutes from where I live and requires the use of one of my favourite series of roads... even better!

The event was dubbed as a, British bike night, but as it turned out there was just about everything there you could have wished to look over. I had thought it was going to be a relatively small event but there were hundreds of bikes and people in attendance.

What really surprised me was the amount of Bobbers that were there Weíre often here arenít we, saying how we rarely see another in the wild... but there were 5 Bobbers there and one Bobber Black, which of course was mine.

I hope you enjoy the pics... I rarely ever take any or least donít get around to sharing them, but last night really was exceptional!

Thanks for sharing Mike,

Great to see these bikes. I have to say that old Ariel is really nice.

I went to the store last night here in Arizona (on a bone run for my dog) and stumbled on a vintage car rally. Wish I had my camera with me, so cracker, mostly vintage US of course. No bikes though, well accept my Triumph which I parked right in the middle of the rally...

Cheerio,

Roy

Fine spot and choice Roy... that Ariel was a beauty. Although, I have to say the Vincent has my heart... no doubt because itís the star of one of my favourite songs...

The car show sounds like a great find... nothing better than stumbling across these kinds of things!

There's a weekly meet in Essex on Wednesday nights (Great Bentley), there's been occasions on which I would guess 2000 bikes...
