New friend for my BB

Hey fellas ..Im not going to write a long post on why I bought my new to me HD Vrod 2015 Muscle with 3,400 miles on It. The only HD I would ever consider was the Vrod , just something about It that always draws me to It . I bought It from a HD dealership down In fort Myers Florida I think I got a **** of a deal on It , I dont have It yet as It has to be shipped up to VA could be two to three weeks ( Anybody live In Ft Myers go take a look at It for me LOL ) , yeah I know a bit of a leap of faith never buy anything sight unseen but having spoken to them for the best part of Friday I feel confident Its as good as they say It Is, they even made a video and emailed It to me . check out he pix let me know what you guys think .

The bobber Is a keeper shes my baby .

Hi Mar-Vel,

Thanks for sharing your new addition. That's a great looking bike. I always thought the V-Rod was a unique looking Harley and although not for me, can appreciated the direction HD went with this idea.

Thrilled you got a great deal mate, enjoy..

Congrats on growing the stable.
I must agree with you, the V-Rod is one of the few Harleys I would buy.

Hey Mar-Vel,

When you get your new ride please post a nice pic of both bikes together. I think it would be a great 'complimentary' photograph showing them both side by side. Like going on a Saturday night date with both a brunette and blond ...

V-Rods have the best engine ever put in a Harley (Porsche designed it). Plus V-Rods are conveniently a bargain since the Harley geezers shunned them.

Have fun!

Always liked the V-Rod and rode many miles on the original. A friend still has his original although these days he puts his mileage on a Ducati Diavel (which might be considered, in concept at least, Ducati’s updated version of the V-Rod?). It was H-Ds way of breaking the mold and probably one of their best and IMO, best looking, over the years. But, unfortunately, their dealers and the faithful always looked down on the V-Rod as not being a real Harley (different look, better performance and water cooled). If you went to look at one, salesmen often tried to steer you to a more traditional HD. There, in a nutshell, has been Harley’s problem and only now, after losing about 30% of unit sales since their record breaking years around 2007/8 are they seriously trying to do something to stem the tide and appeal to a wider group of riders. Hopefully, it’s not too late. But, their dealers and salespeople need a true head shaking re-education program if they’re to be even moderately successful. They’ve blown opportunities with the V-Rod and Buell and only time will tell if they can reinvent themselves and their motorcycles. Not everyone, and less every year, want a 700 lb., $20k+ motorcycle. Good luck and riding with your new addition. You’ll really enjoy it.
