Smell of burning oil

Hope itís nothing to worry about, but I took the Bobber for its first service yesterday, on the way there whilst stuck at traffic lights I could smell burning oil, I put it down to the car in front and thought no more of it.
Then on the way home riding the bike onto my driveway I could smell the oil burning again. As it was chucking it down with rain I didnít really investigate it anymore.
Hopefully this evening after work Iíll have a proper look.

Sounds worrying but I would think it would be the rain hitting the engine casing etc and just drying off due to the heat, which in turn probably gave off the smell you noticed! 👍🏻

More than lightly residue left over in areas around the engine/exhaust while the mechanic was handling the bike.
Best to keep a nostril open (and signs of drips or leaks) but doubtful itís an issue.

More than likely, a bit of spilled oil that dripped under the motor during the refill, or when it was drained. I doubt anything to worry about.

I've spent my fortune on wine, women, and motorcycles. The rest I wasted on everything else.
