Fuel can in tank bag....

I’ve done this on other bikes in the past, I have an Oxford tank bag, medium I think, that I have had a 5 litre fuel can in. I’ve tried the bag on the bobber tank and it seems to fit so perhaps that’s an option to extend the range when touring?
I’ll ty it soon as I intend to keep a can in the garage anyway to cut down on petrol station visits.
Of course it may have already been thought of.......

The tank bag holds a 5 liter fuel can?...and it's a medium?! That sounds HUGE. Now I'm curious. Is the fuel "can" really a can, or a soft bag of some sort? Any chance you can post some pics?

Definitely useful for a extended rides, but it does sound like a very big bag.
Any pics?

Jeez... thatís massive..

Iím sorry but I donít see the advantage... you have to stop and fill up from a can, why not just stop at a petrol station...

Weíre in the UK, not the Australian outback

Because sometimes the petrol station isn’t near enough......maybe not such a great idea?
