Triumph Pannier Question?

Hi Gents,

Has anyone fitted the Triumph left-hand pannier while running the (Triumph) side mounted number/license plate?

It looks like they may not be compatible so keen to see if anyone has done this?

Cheerio,

Roy

Roy, maybe someone has figured how it can be done but, according to the Triumph website, they’re not compatible.

Thanks for that,

It looked close and I don't always believe the Triumph website, well not over actual experience anyway.

Cheerio,

I have both paniers with the side plate. I bought the bike this way. The previous owner had the dealer fit it. They actually bolted the plate holder on the panier.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing that. An interesting set up.

So the plate is bolted to the pannier and not mounted via the bracket?

Cheerio,

Roy

Hey brother,
I bought the relocation kit as well and it can’t be used with the pannier bag.
I got the bags first and think the side mount plate looks tough as **** but Triumph missed when the designed the plate relocator.

Exactly. They had to make 2 holes in the panier. They bolted the panier in between the plate frame and an aluminium plate on the inside of the panier. I can take a picture if you want!
