Free Spirits Low Mount Spotlight

I tried a couple of forum searches but couldn't located a discussion regarding the spotlight.

I'm curious who has added this part, and their thoughts?

I realize this add-on could cause a wide range of nausea to "cafe racer purists", but for those that are looking more toward the cruiser look, I'm interested in your thoughts, how it works at night, and if you haven't done it, would you? additional pics are welcome.

Hi David,

Thanks for posting this. I was pondering a similar idea for a future project but hadn't seriously looked into it yet, so was interested to see your post.

This spotlight looks like a nice compliment so I'm also now interested to see if anyone has fitted it.

As my electrical skills are awful and considering the (modern) electrics on the Bobber, I would also be keen to hear if it's easy to fit or is this something that needs to be done by dealership?

Cheerio,

Roy

I did it. I like the look and the extra light it gives directly in front of the bike. Itís not a super strong light by any means but it gives me just enough extra that I was looking for.

The light that has the yellow film on it at AJ’s site looks pretty retro and cool. Haven’t posted in a while...still check in to read everyday but with temps in the 20’s, 30’s or 40’s in NY, my bike likely won’t see outside the garage until springtime.

BearJU,

Can I ask how the light works? Does it operate with your regular lights or do you have an independent switch, if the latter, where is it?

I have one installed on my 2017. I think it adds retro flair. Mine does not have a switch and stays on all the time.
