Due in part to my size , I have to determine how much I want something , then figure out if the aftermarket (or in the case of my Bobber , Triumph) has pieces that allow me to fit it to me. Seeing the Bobber with High bars was a clue that I could get this thing closer to my needs , and crawling under both a Speedmaster and a Bobber at my dealership told me I could eventually make forwards work if needed.
I enjoy the Bonneville line because they stayed true to what the Original Bonnies were. Sure the carbs are gone and the Prince of Darkness isn't causing undo cussing , but a 50 year old Bonnie and the Hinckley Bonnies have a heritage that can be seen without looking for it. I have always loved an open motor on a bike , and the Bonnie has that. Pipes may intersect into a Cat , but this is 2018 and it had to happen. But at a glance , you don't notice these things. Nice job Triumph.
So far behind , I think I'm in first place.
