Wiring Issue To Look Out For..!

Hi Gents,

I just wanted to share this potential issue - just in case!

Today I went to do a little work on the bike (fit my new rack) and as I looked under the rear fender noted the wiring was 'resting' on the tire.

I had the fender replaced a week ago and it looks like the mechanic did not re-fit the wiring into the tabs that hold it in place.

There appears to be very little damage and the dealership has been informed, so on my next visit they will inspect and replace if needed.

I'm really pleased I caught this as it could have been a lot worse. So I just wanted to share it here so if you ever have any work done on your rear fender 'check' the wring is properly refitted.

Cheerio,

Roy

Nice catch , even if by accident. When drilling to add my rack , I noticed the wiring harness tucked in that body line on the rear fender.

So far behind , I think I'm in first place.

Sorry Roy, can't make that out at all. Will have to look under my fender but thanks.
