Cracked ring

I just got the plastic ring changed during the Bobber,s annual service, the tech told me the plastic ring is the immobilizer antenna. If yours is cracked get it changed

same thing happened to mine. brought the bike into the dealership to take care of other warranty issues, (clutch cable/bracket fix, fork squeak) and i also pointed this out to them. they also are replacing it under warranty.

wonder what would cause it to crack. other than extreme sun-heat? or maybe just a defective bunch out there?

anyways, glad yours got fixed!

There is a possibility that you could get caught somewhere with an engine that wouldn't run. It happened on a BMW that I was riding.
