New leather seat

Collected my new leather seat today. It is partly covered in old antique leather and full grain hide by a friend here in Cambridge.
I had the seat pan powder coated black too. Iíll fit it on the bike in a day or two and post photos of it on the bike.

Very nice indeed.

I love reusing old stuff.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the Ďlikeí Roy. I am using the existing foam underneath and there was only just enough of the old leather to cover the back section. I originally wanted the lot done like that but thought that the leather going over the edges might act like lizard scales and lift up a bit (and therefore rip).

Nice job and probably a good decision about not going over the edges. On the bike, I think it will look great and be something no one else has.

Hi - would you be able to say where you had your powder coating done? Cheers - Greybeard

Hi Greybeard
The powder coating is good. I am very pleased with it and it only cost me £20. It was done by Morley Brothers here in Cambridge.
