Has anyone taken the evap canister off yet?

Is it strait forward or is there some electronics that will send a check engine light?

I have taken the canister off of other bikes that I have owned. I had to take a canister off of the BMW R nineT that I owned to make way for a new rear shock. If I overfilled my gas tank the gasoline fumes stunk up my in-house garage.

I didn't even notice the canister on my new Bobber. I'll probably leave it because I need to fill the tank as full as I can get it for the next ride.

I have removed them on a couple of previous bikes because they were hanging out in the open. They did a good job hiding it on the Bobber so I see no need to remove it.
